24 ouncesboneless pork chops
¼teaspoonsalt
⅛teaspoonpepper
1teaspoonolive oil
1largeonionthinly sliced
1mediumapplethinly sliced
1clovegarlicminced
2tablespoonapple cider vinegar
½cupunsalted chicken broth or water
1teaspoonfresh rosemarychopped {or thyme}
Instructions
Heat a large skillet over high heat. Salt and pepper both sides of pork chops, and sear pork in the large hot skillet. Remove from heat and set aside.
Turn the heat to medium, and add oil. Sauté onions in the skillet until caramelized, stirring occasionally, about 12 minutes.
Stir in apple and garlic, and cook fro 5 minutes. Add pork, vinegar, and broth. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until pork is cooked through and tender. Remove from heat and sprinkle with rosemary. Serve with rice or bread if desired. Enjoy!
